Foot Reflex therapy can be defined as a reflex technique based on the neuro-biochemical action resulting from the stimulation of an area or point on the feet which has a general or partial effect on various areas of the entire body. Foot Reflexology is based on seven steps that involve the observation and stimulation of various foot areas. In essence this technique is a combination of the wisdom of ancient medical traditions and modern neuro-anatomy designed to help improve the underlying imbalances which often manifest in our bodies in the form of physical, mental and/or emotional problems.
The method includes techniques which allow dealing with dysfunctions by manual stimulation of relfex points and zones and depending on how advanced the dysfunctions is it possible to stimulate the body's functions, so that the processes retrocede or stop.
